After Taste, Volume V — The Glutton Club — is the fifth of a projected seven, and is set in the manner of late-1970s and 1980s expedition-modern design — the confident, graphic idiom of the field guide and the illustrated expedition report, its clean sans-serif labels, generous negative space and single restrained spot of colour marking a deliberate half-step toward the contemporary kitchen the series is slowly travelling toward. The plates were drawn as original engravings for this volume; none reproduces any existing work. Compiled and set by the AICE Press in the year MMXXVI, for the patron who loves, above all ingredients, garlic — to whom the sixth volume, now next in line, was promised in advance.
